17th Headies: Full list as Mohbad, Sanwo-Olu, others bag awards

Late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Tems, and Davido were among the notable recipients as the 17th edition of the prestigious Headies Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in music.

The event, tagged ‘Back to Base’, took place on Sunday at the Landmark Event Centre in Lekki, marking a lively return to Nigeria after a two-year stint abroad.

It was hosted by actress and media personality Nancy Isime alongside veteran broadcaster IK Osakioduwa, who brought charisma, humour, and energy to the stage.

The ceremony was dedicated to recognising exceptional contributions across the Nigerian and African music scenes, honouring artists, producers, and creatives for their remarkable achievements over the past year.

The night also featured electrifying live performances from Qing Madi, L.A.X, Odumodublvck, Kcee, Shallipopi, Flavour, Juma Jux, Nasboi, and Magnito.
