THE competition in the big brother naija house is getting more intense as one of the housemates; Bassey Ekpeyong was evicted from the show on Sunday evening, exactly seventy eight days after.
He had the lowest votes against other housemates, Debie-Rise, Bassey, Bally and T-Boss had been up for eviction.
His eviction left Debie-Rise who was the closest to him in the house in tears and while Bassey was being questioned by Ebuka, the camera showed Debie-Rise sobbing. She was affectionate towards him and they spent many hours together.
While answering show host, Ebuka’s prodding questions on how he felt about her, Bassey explained that Debbie wanted to be more emotional with him but he didn’t want to lead her on or break her. Hear him “She’s the only one person I was comfortable with”. He said this because he clearly made everyone understand that he is in a relationship.
He was then asked to choose between Debie Rise and Uriel, and he confessed, “I really like Debie, but I’m not going to lie, I admire Uriel.” Expeyong also said he looks forward to working with Don Jazzy.
Revealing the twist in the house this week, BBN host, Ebuka revealed that four of the housemates would be nominated. However, by Wednesday, the remaining housemates would have a chance to save one of the nominated housemates. And should there be a stalemate; the remaining four housemates would still be up for eviction.
The show which started in January 2017 with 12 real housemates and two fake housemates, will come to an end on April 9 with a winner who would go home with the grand prize of N25 million and a Kia Sorento car.
