The House of Representatives on Thursday, declared that former President Olusegun Obasanjo “remains the grandfather of corruption in Nigeria and lacks the moral authority to discuss corruption or indeed abuse of office in Nigeria, as he remains the most corrupt Nigerian on record.”
Addressing news men in Abuja, on Thursday, in response to a statement credited to Obasanjo at a public Lecture in Lagos on Wednesday that the National Assembly was fulled of unarmed robbers , the Chairman House Committee on Media and Publicity Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas, lashed out at the former President,accusing him of introducing Corruption into the National Assembly
at inauguration in 1999
The House also accused the former President of plotting to derail the administration of President Muhammadu since “he has sensed that Nigeria is having economic difficulties under.”
