Women should rise and take their place —Popoola

Women across the country have urged to rise up and take their God-given positions in the society and be equipped to perform their roles in the home and the larger society.

Convener of the Unique Woman Conference, Reverend (Mrs) Omowumi Popoola gave the charge while revealing the activities of this year’s event which promises to be one of the largest gatherings of women to-date in the country. The Unique Woman Conference 2023 tagged, “Nation Builders” is coming up on June 17, at the Word Communication Ministries’ headquarters, Onireke, Ibadan, Oyo State, between 8:30am and 4pm.

Reverend Mrs Popoola, a lawyer and minister of the gospel is also a passionate advocate of godly homes and marriages and of women playing significant roles in the society, said this year’s conference is with a difference as women will be better equipped as nation builders.

Ministering with her are Reverend Funke Adejumo, Reverend Folake Achudume, Pastor Bola Akintayo, among others. Music ministers that will perform at the programme are Shola Allyson and Rare Gem choir.

A side attraction is the Girls Conference with the theme Arise and shine.
