Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has explained why she doesn’t look up to pastors or priests for directions.
Speaking during a recent interview with Jay On-Air, Nancy Isime said she follows her personal convictions in her walk with Jesus rather than relying on a pastor or priest for direction.
The actress explained that while she listens to certain preachers and learns from them, she prefers to develop her own understanding of God.
“I don’t serve mortals. So, I don’t have the need to perform for mortals. And I would always have a mind of my own. I would always do my own thing. I would always figure out God for myself.

“But of course, I have anchors, whom I listen to; preachers like Apostle Joshua Selman. When you understand the kind of preachers I listen to, you will understand where I am coming from. I am not your typical Nigerian Christian, and I don’t want to be. I have my own mindset just like Jesus,” she explained.
Nancy Isime noted that Apostle Joshua Selman is among the ministers she listens to as part of her spiritual growth.
However, she maintained that her relationship with God is guided by personal conviction and understanding
