Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Leadway PFA, Olusakin Labeodan, has said the focus of the 2026 Leadway Lifestyle Fair, being organised by the Leadway Group, is to acknowledge the important role of SMEs in economies and the need to create more opportunities for them to grow the nation’s GDP and employment, locally and globally.
Labeodan, while speaking on the fair, slated for October 24 and 25, in Lagos, noted that in Nigeria, SMEs account for about 48 percent of the economy, underscoring their critical role in driving enterprise, employment and economic activity.
He added that the fair will bring businesses and consumers together in an engaging environment designed to support product discovery, direct interaction and meaningful market connections.
According to him, participating businesses would have opportunities to showcase their products and services, sell, reach new audiences, and engage directly with the consumers.

He added that supporting such businesses, must, go beyond providing financial solutions, but come up with a platform that would enable businesses interact with their consumers.
He said, while the first edition demonstrated the value of creating that connection in a physical space, this year’s edition would be taking it further by bringing enterprise and the richness of the Nigerian lifestyle together.
“It is an opportunity to celebrate the businesses and experiences that shape how we live, while creating meaningful avenues for businesses to connect, engage and grow,” he added.
Speaking during the stakeholder engagement session, Leadway’s Brand and Communications Manager, Niyi Abiola, described the Fair as an evolution of a journey that began with the Leadway Media Dash initiative, where the Group’s media assets were deployed to give emerging businesses.
