Nigerian media personality and social media commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has reacted to the ongoing controversy involving former Big Brother Naija winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, and her father, Emmanuel Odiniya, accusing the latter of being manipulative and overly ambitious.
Speaking in a video clip circulating online on Monday, VDM said he listened to the account shared by Ilebaye’s father but does not completely believe his version of events.
The commentator alleged that Hon. Odiniya carefully planned his public statements and advised Ilebaye to distance herself from him.
VDM further claimed that the situation between father and daughter may have worsened after things failed to go the way the politician expected.
“After listening to Ilebaye’s dad intensively, I realized how evil the man is and my advise to Ilebaye is that she should stay away from the man as she can.
“That man is an over ambitious politician and a very well calculated one too. When he noticed that things didn’t go the way he wanted, he started beating Ilebaye. A lot of things gave him out, He’s the kind of man that can sacrifice Ilebaye for men to kn@ck so he can get what he wants,” he stated.
The controversy began after Emmanuel Odiniya publicly addressed his strained relationship with his daughter following a viral altercation at their Abuja residence.
