Nigerian quick-service restaurant brand Sooyah Bistro has expanded its menu beyond suya with the launch of a new beverage brand, Nectar Pop.

According to the company, the introduction of Nectar Pop is part of its growth phase and ongoing strategy to meet the demands of its customers.

Nectar Pop’s product range includes fruit teas, bubble teas, milkshakes, and coffee, giving customers options to pair with a meal or enjoy on their own.

Known for incorporating suya into burgers, wraps, and bowls, Sooyah Bistro noted that the introduction of Nectar Pop matches the lifestyle of suya lovers in Lagos State and other parts of the country.

The company noted that the introduction of Nectar Pop builds on Sooyah Bistro’s approach to making familiar flavours part of a contemporary dining experience.

“With refreshing fruit drinks and creamy options, the brand caters to different tastes and occasions, from a quick takeaway to a relaxed catch-up with friends,” it added.

Speaking on the expansion, Olamidun Ogundoyin, Founder and CEO of Sooyah Bistro, said Nectar Pop extends the business’s focus on flavour, choice, and customer experience.

“When we started Sooyah Bistro, we wanted to celebrate suya and show how much could be done with a flavour Nigerians already love,” Olamidun said.

“Nectar Pop brings that same curiosity to drinks. We want people to find something they enjoy, whether they are pairing it with their favourite meal or stopping by just for a drink.”

In addition to the beverage portfolio, the parent company has expanded its market coverage with dedicated sub-brands targeted at distinct demographic segments.

These include 3K Chow, an entry-level meal concept designed to offer affordable, substantial dining options for budget-conscious students and young professionals, and Chop Suya, an experiential pop-up format tailored for music festivals, lifestyle activations, and urban youth gatherings.

“As our customer base has grown, diners have increasingly sought more than our core grill menu. They want complete meal solutions, diverse price points, and premium beverages that fit their daily lifestyle. Expanding with Nectar Pop allows us to deliver the complete dining experience from plate to cup, while additions like 3K Chow and Chop Suya ensure we serve our community across multiple touchpoints,” Olamidun added.
