The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) of Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has commenced the distribution of food items to 600 vulnerable residents in Zamfara.
The flag-off ceremony, held in Gusau on Thursday, marked the beginning of the outreach programme aimed at supporting poor and vulnerable households.
Mrs Tinubu, who was represented at the event by the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima, said the initiative is part of the Federal Government’s broader social investment efforts to cushion the impact of economic hardship on citizens.
