Osun Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke at the weekend felicitated with four legal practitioners of Osun extraction who were conferred with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), describing their elevation as a thing of pride and joy for the state.

In a congratulatory message signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke extolled Messrs Kazeem Adekunle Sobaloju, Bamidele Olawoye, Adedayo Samuel Adedeji and Yemi Adewale Mu’sbaudeen Adesina as exceptional professionals who have distinguished themselves in the legal field, noting that their promotion to the SAN title is a true reflection of their capacities.

While attributing their achievements to hard work, perseverance and unwavering commitment to excellence, the Governor said their progress has not only reflected positively on the state but also serves as a source of inspiration to young people that excellence will not go unrewarded.

“It is with great joy that I welcome the elevation of Messrs Kazeem Adekunle Sobaloju, Bamidele Olawoye, Adedayo Samuel Adedeji and Yemi Adewale Mu’sbaudeen Adesina to the prestigious Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) rank in the country’s legal profession,” the message noted.

“With this achievement, the four of them have shown us once again that hard work and steadfastness actually works, and on behalf of the good people of Osun State, I congratulate them on their new attainments.

“Given that their new ranks mark great progress in the legal profession, I am counting on them to continue to represent our dear state with distinction and contribute to enriching the profession to better the society.”

Governor Adeleke prays that the newly promoted SANs from the state continue to experience a journey filled with even greater achievements and opportunities in their line of work to make positive impacts, not just in Osun state, but the World over.

In a separate statement, the apex decision-making body in Iwo, Iwo Board of Trustees (IBOT) at the weekend congratulated Adedayo Samuel Adedeji,  on his promotional appointment to the inner bar of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

A statement released and signed by the President and secretary of the board, Prof. Lai Olurode and Aare Jire Ayinla, respectively, described Adedeji’s elevation as great news as they extolled the professional sagacity of Adedayo Samuel Adedeji that earned him the merit of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

It be recalled that Barr. Adedayo Samuel Adedeji was one of the 58 legal practitioners approved by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (L C)  at its 159th Plenary session held last Thursday 12th October 2023.

“What great news to learn of your appointment! We are happy that you have been recognized for your accomplishments with this new assignment.

“We have always known you were destined for greater things and now the rest of the world has caught up with this.

“With your skills and experience, you are sure to knock this one out of the park, knowing you will shine more in this new role.

“Your new position sounds fantastic and we are over the moon that you are being given this new role. We look forward to watching your continued rise to the top of the field.

“On behalf of Kabiyeesi, the Oluwo of Iwo, the President, Iwo Board of Trustees (IBOT) Prof Lai Olurode, and the entire members of the board, we say congratulations to you on this well-deserved appointment. Unto greater heights, continue to climb”.
