Rema denies Illuminati affiliation, reveals why he uses bat as signature emoji

Published by

Multiple award-winning Afrobeat artiste, Rema, has denied being a member of one of the world’s most powerful secret societies, the Illuminati.

The Mavin music star made this clarification following accusations of being affiliated with the Illuminati group.

In an Instagram story post on Wednesday, he asserted that he has put in so much hard work for his success to be attributed to the Illuminati group.

According to him, he uses a bat as his signature emoji to constantly remind himself of his roots in Benin, stating that it has nothing to do with being diabolical.

He, however, emphasized that Jesus is the king to him, adding that the speculations of him being involved in any secret society should be stopped.

He wrote, “Day 1 Ravers help educate the new Ravers that I’ve been on this bat shit for a long time. yall would have so much clarity if you easily google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening etc.

“As I evolve my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artiste. It’s why I do interviews.

“And that illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit, dead it now. Jesus is king.”
