A call has gone to both Christian and Islamic leaders to come together and take up responsibility to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
The call was made by the president, Global Dominion Missions, Apostle Lordslight Oshinbowale, during his sermon tagged ‘Restoration’, at the 27th anniversary of the church.
According to Apostle Oshinbowale, the deadly virus is not from God; it is from the ruler of darkness and enemy of humanity.
“Truly, the coronavirus pandemic could not have been from God, but from the ruler of darkness and the enemy of humanity who operates globally through mankind, managing the affairs of this world in the direct opposite of God’s divine purpose for the earth. Yet, it should be understood that God also allowed the pandemic in order to shake the nations and bring the desire of mankind back to Him,” he stated.
The cleric opined that all the other social vices like kidnappings, looting of treasury, legislating abortion, gay marriage and the like have taken roots because leaders of nations have been deceived and manipulated and their minds consequently derailed “in order to commit the greatest sin against their Creator.”
He also warned African leaders in particular to guard against policies that could eliminate their sovereignty, saying, “they should be sensitive enough to detect stylish neocolonialism through available loans and juicy-looking aids.”
