Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has sparked mixed reactions online after revealing that President Bola Tinubu is her next-door neighbour, a disclosure she made while speaking about her home and personal life in a recent interview.

Tiwa Savage made the revelation during an interview with content creator Korty, where she spoke about her Ikoyi home, describing it as a “safe haven” because of its proximity to the president’s residence, the level of security in the area, and its status.

While praising the residence and the security around it, Korty spoke highly of the singer’s living space, prompting Tiwa Savage to explain that the house is only temporary, as she is currently building another home in an undisclosed location.

She said, “To be honest, this is like my temporary place. I am building one I bought somewhere, but it’s not ready until next year. So this is like my safe haven till then. I feel safe. I feel safe actually. I actually feel a little bit important ’cause the president’s house is in front.”
