…we are not aware of five DNA tests — Alleged babymama
Amid the controversy surrounding the alleged paternity of a child linked to music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, the singer has spoken out, insisting that he never met the child’s mother at any point until the DNA testing process began.
Davido stated that his first physical interaction with the woman occurred solely for the purpose of conducting a DNA test, stressing that there had been no prior personal relationship or encounter between them.
According to the award-winning artiste, the decision to undergo DNA testing was not taken lightly and was largely influenced by his father, who demanded absolute clarity on the matter. Davido noted that his family does not take issues of lineage lightly and was determined to resolve the situation conclusively.

To eliminate any doubt, Davido revealed that DNA tests were conducted in five different hospitals. He explained that he personally selected three medical facilities, while the child’s mother chose two of her own, ensuring that the process was transparent and free from manipulation.
“All the results came back negative,” Davido disclosed, adding that the multiple tests were meant to provide finality and prevent further controversy.
The singer expressed frustration over the prolonged public discussion, describing the situation as unnecessary and emotionally draining. He emphasised that this would be the last time he would address the issue publicly.
While criticising what he described as irresponsible actions by some parties involved, Davido maintained that he held no resentment toward the child, whom he described as innocent.
However, he suggested that accountability should be considered where false claims were made.
Meanwhile, the alleged babymama refuted Davido’s five DNA results that returned negavtive, saying they took Anu, her daughter and Davido’s blood’s blood were drawn separately in a room they were not allowed to enter.
“I am challenging this false narrative by Davido because there was no record of five DNA tests anywhere and I never picked any hospital. Dr Adeleke picked the hospital lab and paid for it. It is not ours. Last year, they said it was two; today it is five. Stop using the power of influencing and brainwash Nigerians to believe lies. Money cannot buy everything”, she stated.
