My wife does not trust me, suspects I’m abusing our girls sexually, man tells court

A businessman, Mr Kenneth Ike, has dragged his wife, Julie before a Customary Court in Jikwoyi, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, for suspecting him of sexually abusing their girls.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ike in his petition accused his wife of not allowing his girls spend time with him because she suspected him.

“My wife does not allow me to spend time with my daughters. I have told her countless times that I cannot do such a thing. She does not trust me.  I am tired of the whole issue, I want divorce, “he said.

The respondent, Julie, who was present in court, denied the allegation.

The presiding judge, Malam Labaran Gusau, however, adjourned the case.
