Published by

I will be 65 years in a few weeks’ time. Already, some of the tell- tale signs of advanced age such as wrinkles and grey hair are already setting in. I learnt that aging will also affect the teeth, heart, sexuality and memory. Kindly let me know what I should do to remain healthy in old age.

Although the body goes through different changes as it grows old, there is nothing to worry about. Some of the ways to keep yourself healthy include; regular moderate physical activity such as walking or swimming, consumption of a healthy diet to include vegetables, fruits and high-fiber foods. It is equally important to avoid too much salt, fatty foods, smoking and alcohol. Since stress can adversely affect your heart, take steps to reduce stress through meditation and exercise. Since quality sleep plays an important role in a healthy body, it is also important to get enough sleep.
