Late Madam Elizabeth Akhuetie for burial November 25

The family of Akhuetie of Ehanlen, Ewu, Esan Central LGA, Edo State, has announced the burial arrangements for the matriarch of the family, Madam Elizabeth Ibhariale Akhuetie, Nee Iyodan.

Popularly known as Mama Lolo, she passed on to glory at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) on September 15, 2023, after a brief illness at the age of 89.

A vigil and tribute night will be held for her on Friday November 24, 2023 at the Akhuetie’s Compound in Ehanlen, Ewu by 5pm. 

This will be followed by a Requiem Mass on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ehanlen Ewu by 9.00am.

She will be laid to rest after Requiem Mass at the Akhuetie family compound while entertainment of guests will take place at Ehanlen Primary School, Ewu. 

A devout Catholic, Madam Akhuetie will be remembered for her simplicity and generosity. 

She is survived by many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
