Big Brother Naija Season 7 Level Up winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has expressed concerns about alleged death threats she’s been receiving lately.
Tribune Online reports that Phyna became a trending topic on Wednesday after an encounter with afrobeat sensation, Davido, regarding a negative post about her that was liked by the ‘Unavailable’ crooner.
Following the incident, Phyna took to her X-account to question Davido’s decision to like the critical post against her.
In response to Phyna’s tweet, Davido claimed that liking the post against her was not intentional, adding that he didn’t even know the reality star in the first place.
However, the claim of not knowing who Phyna is seems to have not sat well with some of Phyna’s fans, colleagues, and friends who have continued to call out Davido over the claim.
The situation has since escalated into an online brawl between the fans of Davido and Phyna, who have continued to engage in online disputes.
In the latest development on the issue, Phyna took to her verified X account on Thursday to allege that she has been receiving death threats.
She pleaded not to be killed, stating that although she’s not an artiste, she is still a top figure in her field.
She wrote, “I keep getting death threats oh
I’m not an artist make Una nor kill me oh,
Everybody na 001 for e lane oh. God nor be man🙏”
