Fast rising music star, Oluwatimileyin Otegbayo, popularly known as Timi Phoenix, has released a remix to his single, ‘Perfecto’, explaining the reason behind the choice of the artiste he collaborated with.
Following the release of ‘Perfecto’, critics started to label Timi Phoenix as one of the breakout stars to watch out for in the year. The reception the single received from fans and music lovers encouraged the artiste to make a remix of the song.
Following much anticipation, the remix of the song was released and the appearance of Testimony Jaja on the song was as suggested to the artiste.
Speaking to R, Timilehin revealed the whole process.
“The year started on a high for me with buzz from fans as regards my new single. It was gladdening to give fans something to dance to and spice up their playlists.
“Featuring Jaja was quite a straightforward decision. People had been clamouring for his vibes on the song and it was normal to give the fans what they want.”
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, the fast rising music act revealed that the theme of the song was drawn from the declaration made by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome that 2020 would be a year of perfection.
