Popular designer, Godwil Ebigie, is creating some ripples as he fulfilled his promise, creating a charity organisation called MartyGodwillFoundation.
The launching of the organisation had in attendance seasoned designers, models, photographers and other vendors in the Nigerian fashion business.
In his remarks, an elated Godwill claimed ‘ it is time to give back to humanity. I’ve won many awards in my career and I promised to start a foundation to show my appreciation to God and mankind for bringing me this far’.
MartyGod Foundation is set up in major states in Nigeria and had engaged in programmes like Food Bank Enugu (where people from the streets were fed), orphanages visit and tour of the Gwarimpa hospital in Abuja where cash and gift items were donated.
Godwill further stated that the target of the organisation is to reach all spheres of the country with different charity programmes and unveiled the plans to kick off in other parts of the country.
