From Nigeria to Europe: How Scoop Universal is raising the bar for Tiwa, Buju, others

Scoop Universal, an entertainment company owned by the Kolawole Omoboriowo, says it is on a mission to raise the bar in the music industry.

The journey would soon intertwine with the destinies of some of Nigeria’s most iconic artists, including the sensational Tiwa Savage and the rising star Buju.

Omoboriowo, a music enthusiast with an unshakable belief in Nigerian talent, had founded Scoop Universal with a clear vision in mind.

“The goal is to provide artistes with not just an entertainment outfit but a nurturing home where their creative visions could flourish. Savage, already a music sensation, was drawn to this vision like a moth to a flame.”

According to him, she had reached remarkable heights in her career, but she knew that there was more to explore, more to express.

Omoboriowo, with his keen eye for talent, recognised the potential in her artistry and offered unwavering support. The result? Savage’s music evolved into something transcendent, a fusion of Afrobeat, R&B, and her unique essence.

Her music videos, produced by the label, became cinematic masterpieces that told powerful stories alongside her music.

But the story didn’t end there. Scoop Universal had its eyes on the future. Then he got Buju, a young and talented artist with a voice that was a breath of fresh air in the music industry.

Buju’s path crossed with Scoop Universal’s, and Omoboriowo saw the potential for greatness.

Omoboriowo said he believes in nurturing creativity, allowing artists the space to experiment and grow.

“Scoop Universal’s influence in the music industry grew. Savage became an international sensation, and Buju was on his way to achieving the same status. We are dedicated to not just raising the bar, we want to elevate the entire Nigerian music scene.”
