Former child actor, Blake Garrett, has passed away at the age of 33 after a brief illness, TMZ reports.
The news was confirmed by Blake’s mother, Carol Garrett, who told TMZ that her son died on Sunday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The family is awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner to determine the official cause of death.

She added that he may have self-medicated to manage the discomfort, and she believes his death could have been a tragic accident.
Blake had been living in Tulsa for the past three years and, according to his mother, had turned his life around after becoming sober.
Born in Austin, Texas, Blake Garrett had a notable career as a child actor. He began with local productions, including “Aladdin and His Magical Lamp” and “Peanuts: A Charlie Brown Tribute.” At age 10, he joined the arena show “Barney’s Colorful World International Tour.”
Blake’s most prominent role came in 2006, when he played Plug in “How to Eat Fried Worms,” earning a Young Artist Award for Best Young Ensemble Cast.
