As preparations begin for the 2026 celebration, some parents are paying closer attention to gifts that reflect their children’s interests, values and religious background.

Among Muslim families, there is growing interest in presents that combine excitement with Islamic learning, leading to increased attention on Islamic-themed gifts created specifically for children.

From colourful Qur’an storybooks and customised prayer mats to Arabic learning toys and modest fashion accessories, parents are exploring creative ways to make Children’s Day meaningful while still keeping the fun children love.

Gift vendors and children’s stores say many parents now prefer presents that can entertain children and also introduce positive lessons about kindness, honesty, discipline and faith in simple and engaging ways.

Thoughtful gifts beyond regular toys

While bicycles, dolls, video games and sweets remain common Children’s Day presents, some parents are searching for alternatives that reflect their family values and lifestyle.

Islamic-themed gifts offer a balance between celebration and learning. Rather than presenting religious lessons in a strict format, these gifts are often designed to make learning interactive and enjoyable for children.

Bright illustrations, cartoon characters, sound features and colourful packaging are now being incorporated into many Islamic children’s products to make them more appealing to younger age groups.

Educational toys becoming more creative

Children’s educational toys are also evolving within the Islamic gift market.Arabic alphabet puzzles, talking flashcards, electronic Qur’an readers and Islamic board games are becoming common gift choices among parents shopping for Children’s Day.

Some toys teach children daily prayers, Arabic letters and simple Islamic phrases through songs, audio instructions and games. Parents also appreciate gifts that reduce excessive screen time by encouraging physical interaction, reading and family participation.

Personalised gifts adding emotional value

Customised items are becoming another major trend linked to Islamic-Themed Gifts for Children’s Day 2026. Prayer mats designed with children’s names, personalised mugs featuring Islamic quotes, customised water bottles and framed wall art for children’s rooms are attracting attention from buyers.

Some vendors also create Children’s Day gift boxes containing chocolates, mini storybooks, tasbih and small educational items arranged in colourful packages.

According to gift sellers, personalised items often make children feel more connected to the gifts because they are specially designed for them.

Fashion and faith for young children

Children’s clothing inspired by Islamic culture is also becoming part of Children’s Day shopping. Parents are purchasing kaftans, jalabiyas, hijabs, caps and modest outfits designed with colourful patterns suitable for children.

Fashion sellers say parents are now looking for clothing that allows children dress comfortably while still reflecting cultural and religious identity. Some brands are also introducing matching family outfits for Children’s Day celebrations, photoshoots and special outings.

Encouraging learning through celebration

Celebrations can also serve as opportunities for learning when children are exposed to positive experiences in enjoyable ways. Rather than forcing lessons through strict instruction, many parents now prefer introducing values through games, stories, gifts and family activities.

Some Muslim families are planning Children’s Day activities that include storytelling sessions, quiz games, art competitions and interactive learning moments alongside regular outings and treats. Activities can help children associate learning with happiness rather than pressure.
