The people of Kogi State have been commended for speaking beyond dividing lines in the last Saturday’s governorship election.

Comr. Ali Atabor, Coordinator of CEDO Media Network stated this in a congratulatory message to Gov. Yahaya Bello and Chief Edward Onoja on their resounding victory at the weekend’s polls.

Comr. Atabor described the overwhelming support enjoyed by the governor and his deputy as divine, described the weekend’s election as the God Almighty speaking through the good people of the state.

Comr. Atabor observed that election anywhere in the world comes with shortcomings commended the electoral and security agencies for maintaining excellence in the discharge of their professional conduct.

The coordinator of CEDO Media network said the overwhelming support the people gave the governor and his deputy, would no doubt spur them to do more for people of the state, described the present tenure of Gov. Bello as eventful and rewarding.

Comr. Atabor assured that the next tenure for Gov. Bello would usher in more democracy dividends, pointing out that the weekend’s elections have proven that Gov. Bello has broken every barrier that had hitherto held the state backwards over the years.

Comr. Atabor commended the Kogi electorate who he described as resilient, praised them for defying the scorching sun to vote for continuity in growth and development of the state, described the governor’s victory as a victory for the common man and fewer privileged people of the state.

Comr. Atabor lamented the sponsored negative reports of some unaccredited observers about the Kogi election, rates the election as having met the required standard in all areas, prayed God to grant the governor and his deputy wisdom to be able to pilot the affairs and do more for the Kogi people.
