Top Nollywood sets and arts designer, Adewale Adeleke, has expressed gratitude to God for his nomination at the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Adeleke was nominated in the category of “Best Art Director” for his role in the creation of Femi Adebayo’s epic movie, Ageshinkole (King of Thieves). His nomination is one of the eight scooped by Agesinkole.
The art director described the nomination as another highlight of his career, saying it means a lot to him and the brand he has been building over the years.
According to him: “This remains a joyous moment for me and my household. I have been in the industry for over 20 years; this is the biggest recognition coming my way. It is a dream come true being acknowledged by the huge awards platform on the continent. I appreciate the producer of Agesinkole for the opportunity to explore and grow. It is a win for all.”
Adeleke has worked in several movies as an art director, some of which are Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo, Yewande Adekoya’s Iyawo Adedigba, Adebayo Tijani’s Eni Owo, among others.
