Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, has opened up about battling a stroke condition which has left some part of his body paralyzed.
The comic actor made this revelation in an interview with @investor_m11 on Instagram on Thursday.
In the now-viral video, the actor stated that he has been battling stroke for some time and has been moving from one hospital to another.
According to him, he could no longer move or walk on his own due to his current state of health.
He also apologised for not coming out earlier to clarify his condition, saying that he thought the case would not reach such a critical state.
However, he appealed to all well-meaning Nigerians to come to his aid during this difficult phase of his life.
He said in parts, “By the grace of God, a Nollywood actor. You are correct; I am sick.
“This thing that is called a stroke. I was working, I wasnt driving. From there, they rushed to the hospital.
“I was first taken to a hospital in Nnewi, where I spent some two months before I was referred to a teaching hospital, and here I am now.
“I was on set with Patience Ozokwor, Rita Edochie, and Emeka Ani for seven months. It was when I was about to leave and enter my car that I was struck with this problem, and since then, it’s been getting worse.
“Right now, I can not move or walk on my own. Half of my left hand is paralyzed. It is a problem for me. I’m so sorry I didn’t make it known to the public early. I didn’t know it would last this long. I’m calling on well spirited individuals to come to my assistance.”
