The fourth edition of the annual Ekiti Peace Concert is in the offing and Gratitude Tribe, organiser of the event, has announced that top Gospel artistes will be featuring in the event billed for Ekiti Parapo Pavilion on December 19.
Convener of The Gratitude Tribe, organisers of the Ekiti Peace Concert, Mr. Adetunji Aribasoye, said this year’s concert, tagged Amazing Grace, “promises to be bigger, bolder, and even more spiritually electrifying, and added that lovers of good music and purposeful worship would have a lot to gain from the concert.
Speaking on Ekiti Peace Concert, Aribasoye said it is an inter-denominational worship event which has become “one of the most anticipated gatherings of worshippers in Ekiti State and Southwest Nigeria — a powerful convergence of faith, music, and community spirit.”
He noted that the first and second editions established the concert as more than an event; but as a movement of peace, unity, and revival and that “it has become a rallying point for believers across all denominations, young and ageing, to lift one voice in thanksgiving and to declare peace over our land.”
The Ekiti Peace Concert is free entry, with free transportation while the experience will be priceless.
The Gratitude Tribe therefore urged everyone — churches, youth fellowships, families, students, and visitors from near and far — to come and be part of the life-changing encounter and “together, raise the sound of peace over our land once again.”
Previous editions had seen notable gospel artistes, including Evangelist Bola Are, Sola Allyson, Mike Abdul, Tosin Bee, Deborah Ajayi, Adeyinka Alaseyori, and many others grace the Ekiti Peace Concert stage.
This year, the concert will feature A-list gospel artistes among whom are Deborah Ajayi, Elijah Daniel, Ife Odogiyan, Teni Beluga, Atele, Gbemi Olaleye and Botife.
The group also has made buses available to convey guests from specific pick-up points across Ado-Ekiti and from selected towns outside the city to the concert venue and back. The designated pick-up locations, the organisers said, will be made public in the coming weeks, ensuring that everyone — regardless of distance or means — can be part of this great experience.
According to the organisers, a special segment of the concert will spotlight young, uprising gospel artists from within Ekiti and neighbouring states, giving them the chance to share the stage with renowned ministers and worship leaders.
Aribasoye said: “This is part of our long-term vision to build a thriving gospel and creative ecosystem within Ekiti — one that encourages talent, celebrates originality, and supports our young people to rise and shine for the Kingdom of God.”
