‘The love and memory of you, shall never pass away…’ these marked the solemn 5th year remembrance and thanksgiving service of Africa’s first female Chartered Accountant, Mama Oluwatoyin Olakunri.
Family and friends of the ex-ICAN President, who died during a church service in Lagos converged on St Paul’s Church, Breadfruit, Lagos for prayers and thanksgiving for the deceased.
Mama Olakunri’s name rang in the boardrooms globally for four decades. She was a renowned accountant, philanthropist, seasoned administrator and foremost educationist, who paid her dues and shine by the dint of hard work, integrity and honesty.
The thanksgiving service was dominated by prayers to the family and Nigeria as a country.
