The grassroots politician, at a meeting through his AKA Progressive Forum, appreciated the Egbeda Local Government APC party leaders for their continuous support and show of love towards his political aspirations, despite the outcome of the primary elections.

He said, “It is imperative at this point to set the ball rolling for the success of our party, APC. We must not lose guard. All our candidates, from President Bola Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima, Oyo State gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Sharafadeen Alli, and his running mate, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji, Oyo Central Senatorial candidate, Sen. Yunus Akintunde, Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency candidate, Hon. Akin Alabi, and both the Ona-Ara and Egbeda State Assembly candidates, all deserve our total support.

“I have directed all my supporters, friends, groups, associates and general APC members in Egbeda/Ona-Ara and beyond to begin canvassing for all our candidates, and I am fully committed to the victory of the party come 2027.”

At the meeting, the apex leaders in Egbeda Local Government appealed for calm within the rank and file of the APC in the local government and urged members to consider the party first before other interests.

The APC leaders during the meeting equally praised Akinola for his genuine political spirit and developmental drive, which he has demonstrated in the federal constituency through his AKA Foundation despite the political situation.

“We are proud of him. He has proven to be a good political leader and not otherwise. He has numerous developmental and intervention programs in his name within the federal constituency. Notably, the 350 solar-powered streetlights installation ongoing in Ona-Ara Local Government, with a promise to replicate the same in Egbeda,” they said.

Leaders at the meeting includes: Former Assembly Member, Honourable Lasun Oguntade ;Alhaji Ibraheem Animashaun; (Former Ajorosun LCDA Chairman), Honourable Yinka Adeyemi; Honourable Muyiwa Adewusi, Honourable Kola Adepoju; Alhaja Romoke Olaniyi; Alhaja Adeola Akeweje, among others.
