Tribune highlights the 10 interesting facts about the popular Canada-based Nigerian artiste, Known for her impressive penmanship Ego ‘Eclais’ Okere popularly known as Eclais is a Canada-based rapper, singer, and songwriter.

It was clear from an early age that she loved music, especially rap. 2014 saw her complete her O’level studies while enrolled in Trans Ekulu Girls High School. Despite her passion for music, her parents helped her pursue and ultimately complete her economics degree.

  2. Eclais released her debut single titled “Rising Sun” in 2014.
  3. She attended Trans Ekulu Girls High School and completed her O’level in 2014
  4. She has a degree in economics from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike
  5. Eclais relocated to Canada in 2019 to receive a better education and pursue her career in music.

  7. In April 2023, she organised a personal social responsibility initiative to complement the efforts of the local government in alleviating the plight of the less privileged in the community.
