A security expert and Chief Executive Officer of Majinfotek Nigeria and Overseas, Ambassador Adedoyin Oyinkansola, has advised corporate organisations on the need to have tailor-made security arrangements since security challenges are sometimes peculiar to individual corporate organisations.
Ambassador Oyinkansola gave this advice recently in Lagos at a special training programme on ‘Majinfotek Security Applications’, designed by the company to handle a wide range of security challenges for individuals and corporate organisations in the country.
She also stressed the need for individuals and corporate organisations in Nigeria to be proactive and always plan ahead of potential attacks from desperate elements.
Oyinkansola argued that the present economic downturn has thrown up a lot of security challenges, hence the need for individuals, governments, and corporate organisations to pay attention to public places, especially schools and worship centres.
She expressed optimism that the required security architecture, needed in public places, especially schools, now that students are returning, can always be provided by security personnel trained by the company.
Oyinkansola explained that the reason for the training was to transmit the company’s vision of providing tailor-made security arrangements to every market it serves.
Also speaking at the event, the company’s Chairman, Chief Idris-Shonuga Oluwasheun, stressed the need for the country to invest hugely in technology if it intends to win the war against insecurity in the country.
According to him, terrorism has become a big threat in many countries, but he added that the company has “in-built technology that can help detect some suspicious behaviour, even at a very long distance.”
Oluwasheun stated that national security is equal to national prosperity, adding that 21st-century security has gone beyond the physical manning of checkpoints by security personnel to the use of Majinfotek equipment.
