Sustain your legacy by providing for vulnerable people, realtor urges Nigerians

Founder of Oko Opo Foundation, Babatunde Adeyemo, has urged Nigerians to provide for the needs of vulnerable and underprivileged people, adding that such gesture is a sure way of sustaining one’s legacy.

Adeyemo stated this when the leadership of Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council visited him at his Laderin residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He also added that adding value to people’s life helps to build enduring institutions with the tendency of changing the society.

Adeyemo, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, a real estate agency, noted that the foundation which will be funded through his personal resources will be formally launched in December.

“I have come to realise that the only way to sustain this wealth we are amassing is by building institutions and adding value to people’s lives.

“Oko Opo Foundation is a strategic plan. I have always prayed that if God commits lots of resources in my care, the greater percentage of my wealth is going to the needy because I think I don’t need much to survive.

“We are compiling a list of vulnerable people. We have ample time to plan because once we kick-start in December, we’re not stopping.

“Oko Opo Foundation is a foundation is a product of my passion to add value to people’s lives. People such as widows and the homeless. They will be taken care of depending on their peculiar needs,” he said.
