Reps Dauda rehabilitates abandoned bridge linking LGAs of Adamawa Nothern zone

Kudzum bridge, which used to be a Nexus and connecting hub of Michika and Madagali, Adamawa State, was destroyed by Boko Haram over five years ago with no immediate action by the authority concern since the return of Peace.

The destruction of the bridge had paralysed and hampered economy activities, especially the movement of agriculture produce to and from the five LGAs constituting the Senatorial zone.

Knowing the economy ripples effect of the bridge, the Federal Lawmaker representing Michika and Madagali at the National Assembly, Honourable Zakariya Dauda Nyampa, has took the bull by its Horns by swinging into action in rehabilitating the bridge.

Dauda, who during a telephone conversation with our reporter, said the bridge is the socio economy live of his people and if the bridge is not in order by the coming raining season, life will be very unbearable for them.

Dauda said though the ongoing work is a temporary one but will serve the people in a much more way, causing development to the people before the proper work will be done by the Federal government.

He assured his constituents a representation that will not only translate to making laws and bills but to development, human empowerment and creating jobs opportunity.
