The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 70 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 164,303.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Monday.
“On the 19th of April 2021, 70 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 164303 cases have been confirmed, 154384 cases have been discharged and 2061 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 70 new cases are reported from 5 states- Lagos (27), Kaduna (16), Ondo (16), Yobe (6), and Bauchi (5),” the NCDC said.
