Ken Pela
Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Delta, Ken Pela has reacted to his victory at the Appeal Court.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Njenje Media Tv Thursday, Ken Pela described the victory as proof that the case will not be based on technicality adding that “Judiciary is the hope of the common man”.
“The Court of Appeal has proven that technicality will not be allowed in this matter. Justice must be done and must be seen to have be done.
“So, let’s continue to hope and trust that the Judiciary will do the right thing in the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT),” excited Ken Pela told journalists shortly after the judgement.
Recall the Delta Tribunal had earlier dismissed LP’s petition against Governor Sheriff on the ground that he abandoned his pre-hearing.
However, in a turn of events, Court of Appeal on Thursday granted him approval to return to the Delta State Election Tribunal for the continuation of his petition against Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
