The former speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Musa Ahmed Muhammed, has congratulated Governor Abdulahi Sule as he clocks 100 days in office.
Muhammed, a two-term speaker, also hailed the Presidential Election Tribunal’s judgement, which upheld the return of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 18 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a statement he signed and made available to the Nigerian Tribune Saturday in Lafia, Muhammed said the governor has started his first hundred days of his second tenure on a good footing.
“I wish to felicitate Your Excellency on the attainment of 100 days in office, as you fulfilled the real reason behind the idea of 100 days by its originator, which includes key policy pronouncements, critical appointments, and the review and unfolding of strategy for enduring and sustainable development”.
“With the appointments made so far, you have kept to your promise of running an all-inclusive government, thereby reducing political hostility and promoting patriotism in the state.
“Your prompt payment of salaries and arrears of pensions has not only put the workers in pride of place but also given hope that there are better days ahead.
Muhammed, who is currently the accountant general of the state added that the love Governor Sule has for the youth is demonstrated in his appointments.
He appealed to the people of the state to accord the governor continuous and unconditional support while urging him to remain focused in all his dealings.
The former speaker also congratulated the president for his victory at the tribunal, even as he described the outcome as the will of God and an endorsement of the aspirations of the people.
He equally congratulated the Vice President, Kasim Shetima, the APC in the state, and the national leadership of the party for another landmark achievement that the tribunal outcome signified.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to give the president the ability to steer the country on the path of development and growth.
