COVID-19: Lagos discharges 15 males, 9 females from isolation centres

Lagos State government on Thursday announced the discharge of 24 more COVID-19 patients, comprising 15 males and nine females, all Nigerians, from its various isolation centres across the state.

The state Ministry of Health made the disclosure on its Twitter handle, saying the patients were discharged from the Onikan, Gbagada, Agidingbi and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation facilities.

According to the ministry, the patients were four from Onikan, one from Gbagada, one from Agidingbi and 18 from LUTH isolation centres, adding that with the latest figure, the total number of discharged patients in the state had now come to 952.

According to the ministry: “Today, 24 more fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 15 males and nine females, all Nigerians were discharged from the Onikan, Gbagada, Agidingbi and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients, four from Onikan, one from Gbagada, one from Agidingbi and 18 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to #COVID19.

“With this, the number number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 952,” the ministry said.
