BREAKING: FG orders govt workers on GL12 and below to stay at home for 5 weeks, schools to remain closed till Jan 18

The Federal Government, on Monday, announced a new wave of restrictions following the increase in cases of COVID-19 as it ordered all federal civil servants on Grade Level 12 and below to stay at home for the next five weeks from Monday.

It also announced that all schools would remain closed till January 18 while also announcing that restrictions are placed on social and religious gatherings for five weeks.

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) which announced these measures in Abuja on Monday, also said all bars, nightclubs and recreation centres nationwide are to be closed till further notice.
