BREAKING: ASUU begins indefinite strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has begun an indefinite strike on Monday, amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

ASUU President, Biodun Ogunyemi, announced this at a press briefing in its National Secretariat in Abuja.

Before now, ASUU had threatened to go on strike indefinitely if the Federal Government insisted on the implementation of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).’
