APC national chairman, Ganduje, hails Gov Aliyu’s developmental strides in Sokoto

The national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Umar Ganduje, has commended the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, for his developmental strides in the state.

Ganduje was in the state to commission some of the completed projects to celebrate the 100 days of Aliyu administration.

The chairman, who upon arrival in the state witnessed the distribution of palliatives to 2022 flood victims in the state.

Ganduje, who is the immediate past Governor of Kano State, described the Governor Aliyu as the best performing governor in the first 100 days of his tenure.

” I have not been everywhere but from what I gathered before i arrived here and from what I have seen so far in the state, I can boldly described you as the best performing governor for now.

“I believe if you continue like this for the next four years, you will not need to campaign for a second term, we would all beg you to go for second term.”

Speaking earlier in his remarks, the state governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, said the distribution of palliatives to the flood victims is part of his administration’s nine-point agenda to always make life easy for residents of the state.

He assured the people of the state that his administration will continue to work for the ordinary citizens of the state by improving their living standards.

The governor however assured that his administration will revive the now rested neighborhood watch initiated during his time as Commissioner for social welfare in the state.

“As part of ways to engage our teeming youths in the state, my administration will soon revive the neighborhood watch initiated during my time as the commissioner for social welfare under the administration of our leader, Senator Aliyu Wamakko.

“I believe apart from the fact that it will improve our internal security, it will also help in providing job opportunities for our teeming youths in the state” he added.
