A couple simply identified as Mr & Mrs Immaculate Ojo, have been abducted along Erho Road, Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mr Ojo is the owner of a popular boutique, Immaculate Dynasty, located in Abraka.
Sources said Ojo was kidnapped with his wife, Alice, on Sunday at a failed portion of the Erho-Abraka Road while reportedly on their way to the Immaculate Island beach at Erho-Abraka for weekend relaxation.
The abductors, it was further gathered, made away with the Toyota Venza in which they were travelling.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta Police Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said he has been unable to reach the Divisional Police Officer in the area for confirmation as of the time of filing the report.
It will be recalled that the chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Delta State chapter, Comrade Izu Monday, and his driver were also abducted on that spot before they were released five days after their families paid an undisclosed ransom.
