Why holy pilgrimage is good for strengthening of Christian faith

The General Overseer of Seed of Christ Golden Church, Lagos, Prophet SMO Mustapha, popularly known as Baba Sebioba, has acknowledged recurring testimonies and diverse miraculous experiences from his annual visit to the Holy Land and charged Christians to aspire to them.

Prophet Sebioba disclosed this while hosting a pilgrimage crew to the Holy Land and sharing his plan to lead over 500 pilgrims to the Holy Land in the coming year.

The cleric recounted how, for years, he has been leading the people of God for holy pilgrimage exercises while hosting a renowned Israeli tour manager, Mr. Israel Goldstein of Ophir Tours.

This was disclosed during the visit of the top Israeli tour broker, Mr Israel Goldstein of Ophir Tours, who was on a business tour to Nigeria and visited Baba Sebioba.

Speaking on the occasion, the team leader of the renowned Nigerian destination management firm, UfitFly, Evang. Ajibola Ogunkeyede said pilgrimage to the Holy Land was a way to deepen the connection of the Christian faithful with God, feel connected to the worldwide community of Christians, and meet Christians from different denominations.

Evangelist Ogunkeyede added that Christian pilgrimage was also an avenue to learn more about and feel connected to the history of Christianity, see sites where miracles happened, and receive special blessings.

He said, “In 2023, Ufitfly returned to Israel with greater ambition and success, and overall, we are extremely encouraged and excited for the several milestones and chapters to come.

We will continue to guide our pilgrims on a transformative journey, affirming our position as a visionary travel company dedicated to providing unparalleled travel experiences.

“Keeping up with our evangelism of preaching pilgrimage, the Ufitfly team came to Seed of Christ Golden Church in Lagos together with Mr Israel Goldstein of Ophir Tours all the way from Israel, Mr Solomon Nwachukwu, and Evang. Jesugbemi GIG to pay a courtesy visit to our father, Prophet SMO Mustapha Baba Sebioba.”

Goldstein’s visit, according to Ogunkeyede, was to meet with some distinguished ministers of God who have been supporting the vision of strengthening the faith of Nigerian believers through pilgrimage journeys to the Holy Lands of Israel and Jordan, as championed by his company.
