Welcome back from break

Published by

Dear children, I hope you had a wonderful time at school, being the first week of resumption. You must have adjusted to the new schedules too. Do you think you may not perform well because you could not meet your targets last term?

Aunty Yemi is encouraging you not to entertain any fear because you will excel. Try and follow these steps and you will be surprised with the good performance you will have by the time this term/ academic session comes to an end.

Dear students,

As we commence the last lap of this academic year, let us reminisce on some of the values that we have spoken about in the past:

For school work, simply remember to strike a balance in all aspects of your academic life; READ well, EAT well, PRAY well, PLAY well, and remember to also SLEEP well – R.E.P.P.S! … All are very important!

In addition, don’t forget to be very wary of your character too. Remember, “Intelligence plus character; that is the goal of true education” – Martin Luther King Jr. Remember that Islam teaches us that “…what is wrong is very distinct from what is right, and the most important part of the body to build is the qalb (heart)”

Finally, remember that more than 85% of your success is due to how you see yourself. You are either an “Oh yes I can” or “Oh no I can’t” kind of person…WHICH ARE YOU?

Also remember, “The YOU in you determines the YOU you are” (What is within you goes a long way in determining what your output is, or would be)!

Good luck my dears…the world awaits your greatness!

Inside Ibadan Bound Train From Lagos

The train started the 156.65 kilometres journey to Lagos at exactly 08:00hrs. The pace of its acceleration was minimal.

At about 25 minutes, the train slowed down at the uncompleted Omi-Adio terminal, a village on the Abeokuta/Ibadan expressway; it’s a stone throw from Apata in Ibadan. Conveyance of passengers from there and other terminals has not kickstarted as the terminals are still under construction and workers were found there…

Killer Herdsmen: Untold Story Of Ibarapa’s Worst Nightmare + VIDEOS

“Please do not talk to my father. He is yet to come to terms with the death of his son. It is a most tragic experience. How does one quantify the loss of a dear brother? His offence was that he asked them to drive their cows off his already cultivated farmland,” Bisi Olaosepin, whose brother was hacked to death, struggled to hold back his tears as he relayed to Sunday Tribune the horrible experience that culminated in the passage of his brother…
