Truecaller has announced a corporate rebranding and the launch of a brand-new app icon, instantly recognisable on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The unveiling of this new brand identity aligns with a significant transformation occurring in the digital space.
At the core of this rebranding effort is Truecaller’s renewed sense of purpose, energy, and enthusiasm.
Alan Mamedi, co-founder and CEO of Truecaller, commented on the announcement, stating, “We are excited to unveil our new brand identity and logo, signifying our continued commitment to our users and our dedication to evolving and improving every day.”
He further added, “Our mission, to protect communication for all, guides us in developing new anti-fraud solutions like Search Context and engineering improvements to enhance user privacy.”
As a part of this refreshed identity, Truecaller users gain access to a powerful new anti-fraud feature called Search Context, integrated into the Truecaller AI Identity engine.
While viewing the search results for any number, Truecaller users will receive instant notifications if the name associated with the number has been recently changed or is undergoing frequent changes.
The app categorises this contextual message into three colour-coded categories: blue for a neutral change, yellow indicating a potentially suspicious name change, and red indicating multiple and frequent name changes highly indicative of fraudulent and scammer activity.
This message will be displayed to all Truecaller users across Android, iPhone, and Truecaller Web in all search results.
The new brand identity has been crafted in collaboration with Interbrand, a leading global brand consultancy. It will be gradually rolled out across the globe over the next few weeks.
To view the new app icon and the changes, users will need to update to the app version 13.34 or newer on Android and version 12.58 or newer on iOS.

Over the past 14 years, Truecaller has firmly established itself as the market leader in call identification solutions.
With a global community of trust, the app enhances communication for an impressive 356 million users worldwide.
This growth underscores the increasing recognition of Truecaller’s efforts and hard work in addressing the pressing issues related to the proliferation of scams and frauds on a global scale.
