Taraba youths laud Kefas for appointing David Kassa as Aide

On Friday, the youth wing of the Mumuye Cultural Development Association in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State commended Governor Agbu Kefas for appointing Dr David Ishaya Kassa, the immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture, as an aide.

The group, while expressing that the governor has made the right choice that would strengthen the transformational force agenda for Taraba, also congratulated Kassa for the appointment.

The leader of the group, Pastor Bulus Bitonopah, who spoke during their visit to Dr Kassa’s house in Jalingo, described the appointment as well-deserved and noted that Kassa has long been a pillar of support for community development and cultural preservation.

The group said Dr Kassa’s appointment was the best choice, adding that their confidence in Governor Kefas’s vision for the state was further strengthened by the appointment of Kassa, who served previously as Commissioner in the state.

Bitonopah expressed deep gratitude to Governor Kefas for recognising Dr. Kassa’s potential and entrusting him with a significant role in the state government.

“We are immensely proud of Dr Kassa,” said Pastor Bitonopah. “His previous tenure as Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources showcased his dedication and commitment to the welfare of our people.

“We have no doubt that he will continue to excel in his new position, bringing positive changes to our beloved state.”

“Dr. Kassa’s appointment is particularly meaningful because he has demonstrated competence in the past when serving as Commissioner by improving agricultural practices and promoting sustainable development in the state.

“His work has not only boosted local economies but has also inspired many young people to pursue careers in agriculture and agribusiness, and we are sure he will do well in any role assigned to him.

Responding, Dr David Kassa thanked the youths for identifying with him and pledged to do his best to help the administration of Governor Kefas succeed.

He urged the youths to remain productive and support the initiative of Governor Kefas, who has demonstrated inclusivity and a strong passion for the development of Taraba State
