Suspected cultists kill man in Anambra

A yet to be identified young man has been shot dead by some group of people, suspected to be cultists in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

The incident which took place at 8:45 am on Monday morning, according to a resident, was as a result of a cult clash.

Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State command, DSP Ikenganya Tochukwu, in a phone chat said “It is a cult-related incident, that happened on April 12, 2021, around Ukwuoji this morning. Police operatives are currently on the ground there. I will avail you more details shortly.”
