Shina Peller set to hold Unity Cup at Iseyin tomorrow

House of Representatives member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal constituency, Honourable Shina Peller, is set to host football lovers, entertainers, fans, constituent members and friends at the Oke Ogun Peller Unity Cup Season Two final match.

The event, scheduled to hold tomorrow at the NYSC Camp, Iseyin, Oyo State is in honour of the 25th year remembrance of the great Moshood Abiola Peller, popular ly known as Professor Peller, and was organised in conjunction with the Oyo State Football Association.

According to the Aquila Group boss, the events of the day will start with a remembrance prayer, ‘Salat Al-Janazah’ at the Iseyin District Grammar School, Oyo State at 10 in the morning. This would be followed by the PUC Final Match.

On the match-up for the final fixtures are Iseyin United vs Iseyin City FC in third place, while in the final match will be Itesiwaju Rangers vs Itesiwaju Lions FC.

Professor Peller, Shina Peller’s father, was born on January 28, 1936, in Oyo State. He is to date regarded as the greatest magician on earth. In 1964, he attended The School of Magical Arts in India where he spent 18 months. In 1966, he had his first post-training show at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos where he displayed his exceptional gift. He died in 1997.

Expected to grace the event alongside Peller are actors like Kayode Olaiya, popular as Aderupoko and Ibrahim Yekini, better known as Itele.
