Senator Adebule congratulates Sanwo-Olu on tribunal victory

The senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Dr Idiat Adebule, has congratulated the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, on their victory at the state’s governorship election petition tribunal.

The tribunal had affirmed Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat’s re-election in the last general election.

Senator Adebule also felicitated President Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State led by Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and all Lagosians on the victory.

She said the judgment again confirmed the confidence the people of the state have in the ruling APC by re-electing Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Senator Adebule, who recently defeated her Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, Segun Adewale at both the tribunal and Appeal Court, urged Lagosians to continue to support President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu for Lagos State and Nigeria to attain development and economic prosperity.

The former Lagos State deputy governor hailed the judiciary, especially members of the tribunal, for delivering justice “diligently, thereby protecting our democracy, due process and the rule of law.”
