Sam Oyus Foundation to launch business incubation centre in Osun

An Osun state-based non-governmental organization known as “Sam Oyus Foundation”, on Tuesday re-assured his commitment to launch a Business Incubation Center for the newly skilled individuals in Modakeke to showcase and sharpen up their skills while earning from proceeds of the sale of their products or outputs.

Hon Samuel Oyedotun, the Chairman and Chief Executive officer Of the foundation, while speaking at the 4th edition of the newly empowered graduands by his organisation held at the House of Akoraye vocational training center in the town said his foundation empowered the best trainees in each of the training categories with working tools and equipment needed to be independent in their respective fields.

While giving more insight on the operation of the business incubation centre, he explained that many skilled individuals find it hard to be independently productive due to lack of capital, among other factors, the incubation center, according to him, will afford them the opportunity of a starting point with all the needed facilities that will be put in place by the foundation.

Furthermore, he announced that all the new graduands who want to be a part of the pilot stage of the incubation center are welcome once the business center is ready for operation.

While speaking on the vision and mission of Sam Oyus Foundation, Mr Kiari Yusuf, the program lead of the foundation, stated that the foundation is unique in its operation as it set out to change the mindset of the people towards empowerment. He noted that while many foundations exist to fill the vacuum, the Sam Oyus Foundation aims to empower people in various sectors and mold them to become CHAMPION, a trait fully ascribed to the foundation chairman.

He, however, presented the best-graduating trainees in fashion designing, leather bag and shoe making, hair styling, and catering, among others, with working tools to be able to be functional in their different areas of specialization.

The Chairman of Sam Oyus Foundation was presented with an award of excellence by House of Akoraye recognizing his significant contribution to the success of the event and the opportunity accorded the young graduands through his foundation.
