REXPAPI pays tribute to Kobe Bryant with new album cover

Album cover arts are usually expressions of the creatives mind and picture, they are like peek holes into a vast world to be unravelled by the songs.

Legendary Kobe Bryant is a world-known NBA king with multiple trophies to his name and career before his sad demise in 2020.

Nigerian artiste REXPAPI gets inspired by such a legendary king that he creates the cover art of his forthcoming album based on an inspiration of Kobe’s draft day into The Hornets back in 1996.

REXPAPI is one artist that is greatly inspired by Late NBA star player Kobe Bryant.

Speaking on his new album project, he shows his respect for the king and can reflect on those moments of introduction into a bigger part of his career journey and it is this picture he tries to paint by recreating Kobe Bryant’s draft Day picture from 1996 at The Hornets.

REXPAPI’S album “TO BE HONEST” is a 6 track project that is set to introduce him to a bigger audience as he put soul and mind into this particular project.
